You guys (and girls) ROCK!

I would like to personally thank (as personal as a blog can be) everyone who has offered to help me take care of Adam the weekend of Oct 6-8 (I've booked a hotel room for Adam's parents so they can try to get some rest for a couple of nights).

You know who you are (and who you're not), but I wanted to let everyone else know that this is an absolutely incredible group of people who have rallied behind our brother and friend, Adam.

John Sumner, Trey Mosley, Brian Byrd and Chase Bryan have gone out of their way to offer me help in any way possible. Thank you, bros! Unfortunately for me, I'm geographically disadvantaged in being able to make regular visits to assist the Trowbridges more than I'd like. That's tough for me due to the fact that I grew up two doors down from the Trowbridges.

Many of you may or may not know this, but the main reason I wanted to go to Ole Miss was because Adam went there. Some of you may have fond memories of witnessing Weathersby pull shards of glass from my hand at the 1983 Independence Bowl after gravity got the best of me. Others may remember my first visit to the Sigma Chi house when I was responsible for transporting Adam's underaged date across state lines for some party. And all those things are Adam's fault!

The reason I bring this all up is because, without Adam, I would have never had the chance to meet you guys/girls. Even though I was only at Ole Miss for three semesters, I was amazed when I saw many of you at Adam's birthday party and how it seemed like it was just like it was 20 years ago. A lot has changed in those 20 years (except for Rickman), but the bond we all have is something I'll always cherish.

Feel free to stop by the Trowbridges for a visit while I'm in Jackson. Call me at 214.674.1198 if you're not too sure if it's a good time for a visit. Hope to see you!
