Myths of the 80s -- Everyone wanted to be Phi Delt

You might not remember Adam's first album..."I wanna be a Phi Delt".

We didn't think it was a good idea from the start, but being the friends that we were, and still are, we supported him in his "crazy music thing," as we called it. We all knew that he started the band just to support his new hair "do". Another one of his wild tangents that got us all into trouble.

Rickman was premanently scared by the whole experience since the bass was taller than he was. I guess it goes to prove that size does matter.

Thank goodness Andy got his natural hair color back and quit waxing....that part scared me. He tried to get us to do a "Menudo" review, but all of us walked away from the project after we saw the outfits.

I, of course, had to stop wearing extra-large rimmed glasses since I hurt my neck trying to hold them up...and pink and purple never really were part of my natural pallete.

Oh well, what can you say but, "those crazy kids."

Next week I'll share some of the "flaming Polynesian" film clips from Ground Hog '85. I'll bet it's been a long time since you've seen a streaking dwarf with flaming TP trailing from his bum!!!

Note that I had to include the picture of JMW, jr. just to remind him that I may have been fat but he wore great, big glasses.. and Rickman, well, he's my big brother, too.
