greetings from a distant land

Trowbridge,

Alright, don't ask me how I ended up in Boston, because I don't remember ever thinking of that as a potential home back in Oxford, but greetings from the northeast.

In some ways it doesn't seem that long ago that as a college freshman I joined a bunch of elder statesman to venture out to Steamboat and go skiing courtesy of Mr. McCracken. In other ways, it seems like another lifetime. In any event, I'll never forget the late night music and good times, on the slopes and off. There is photographic evidence, but alas, mine resides in storage in Natchez until I can get it up here at some point.

Adam, I wanted to let you know I'm out here following along, thinking about you and your family, praying for you, and wishing I could have made it for the big party. You have a beautiful family and it's wonderful to see everyone gathered together and having such a great time.

Just seeing the pictures has the music playing in my head. Thank you for that.

God Bless.
